Painted in layers
Acrylic in layers, no stencils. The wood grain and the brushwork stay visible.
Sealed with gloss
A glossy top coat goes on last, locking in the color and giving every piece its shine.

Painted in Seattle
I'm Viola. I started VersaVi in 2020, during Covid, painting wooden circles so I could wear my miniatures. Today I also take requests: they help me paint new ideas.
I started painting on wooden circles as a way to wear my art. My specialty is miniature paintings on canvas. In time I wanted to find a way to share my miniatures in other outlets. That's how painting on wood began.
I paint everything by hand. My inspiration are things I find beautiful, cultural, and my travels. I love being able to explore with colors and styles to create wearable art.
Versa is for versatile: I not only create earrings, but can make charms, necklaces, stickers and original paintings on canvas.
